Job Responsibilities
- Provides prompt, efficient, and professional service to customers (internal and/or external). Clearly and courteously communicates with customers promoting a positive company image at all times.
- Receives, ships, and grades grains following established procedures that maintain a high quality product.
- Blends fertilizer by operating dry fertilizer blending equipment.
- Assists in inventory control responsibilities.
- Maintains and cleans all grain & fertilizer plant equipment. Maintains cleanliness of work area, shop area and facility.
- Assists in maintaining housekeeping and maintenance records and other administrative functions as requested.
- Records all appropriate documentation and test results necessary to maintain all current certification standards and comply with all regulatory requirements.
- Drives fertilizer tender as needed.
- Unloads trucks and/or train cars of fertilizer.
- Participates in all procedure and safety training as assigned. Follows all job and safety procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and established company safety policies and standards.
- Attends and participates in meetings as appropriated.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School or GED; some field experience preferred; a valid driver’s license and CDL with endorsements.
