Cooperative Elevator Co. has a seasonal job opening for a Drone Custom Applicator. We are looking for a qualified individual to perform seasonal (May to September) custom chemical, fertilizer or seed applications and assist with general drone applicator operations. The position will require a Certified Remote Pilots License – FAA part 107, a Commerical Applicator License with an Aerial (AE) endorsement and a Class 2 FAA Medical Card. Attending a training out of the state is required as well. CEC will assist in obtaining these requirements for a qualified candidate. This person should be motivated, detailed and good with technology. A Chauffeur’s license helpful.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a qualified individual to perform seasonal (May to September) custom chemical, fertilizer or seed applications and assist with general drone applicator operations.
- Provides prompt, efficient, and professional service to customers (internal and/or external). Clearly and courteously communicates with customers promoting a positive company image at all times.
- Operates applicator drone.
- Maintains/cleans drone and other equipment.
- Loads liquid and dry fertilizer.
- Mixes liquids.
- Maintains cleanliness of work area, vehicles, and applicators.
- Performs inventory checks.
- Checks chemical tanks.
- Participates in all procedure and safety training as assigned. Complies with all safety standards, working within regulatory guidelines and established Cooperative Elevator policies and procedures.
- Attends and participates in meetings as appropriated.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
