Testimonials

Melissa Sharbowski
Office Specialist, Ruth, MI

“The past 22 years working with the talented team members of the Cooperative Elevator Co. has been the best opportunity!  My experience at the Ruth Plant has been great, and my duties include customer service and business office responsibilities.  I recently joined the Accounting Team helping with accounts payable as well.  I enjoy working with the patrons and my coworkers at a safe, productive workplace.  We are fortunate to have exceptional patrons who care about the Coop, and we work hard to provide them great products and excellent customer service!”

Adam Armbruster
Plant Operator, Pigeon, MI

“What I like most about working at the Coop is the flexibility. Over the past 16 years I’ve been able to move around within the company as different jobs became open. I’ve never felt “stuck” in one job during my career here. It’s very nice being able to move around and help other plants as needed. Overall, it’s been nothing but a good experience working at the Coop.”

Evan Medvec
Advanced Agronomy Manager, Sebewaing, MI

“I started my journey with the Cooperative Elevator Co. in 2015 as a summer agronomy intern. I returned as an intern for a few more years. Each year there was always a new challenge or task that I had little experience in but was eager to learn about. In 2017 I graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S majoring in Agronomy. I have been full time with the Cooperative Elevator Co. since January 2018 as the Advanced Agronomy Manager. Each year I am constantly finding ways to improve Advanced Agronomy operations to better serve our customers. Cooperative Elevator Co. has been supportive in me continuing education in many different topics that further my career and allow me to stay sharp and up to date on new ideas and technology. The freedom, flexibility, and the fun and professional working environment has proved to be invaluable during my full-time employment with Cooperative Elevator Co.”

Devin Koroleski
Agronomy Sales Consultant, Pigeon, MI

“My career with the Cooperative Elevator Co. started in the Summer of 2019 when I was an intern based at the Pigeon Fertilizer location. My experiences that summer working with the Coop agronomists across the Thumb was excellent, as I was able to gain hands-on experience in the field and on the technical side of agronomy. After graduating with a degree in Agriculture Business Management in 2020, I returned to the company to apply the skills I gained through my internship and my college career to provide agronomy consulting for growers in the Thumb area. The time I have spent with the Cooperative Elevator and my dedicated, knowledgeable colleagues has shown me how fortunate I am to work at such a great company!”
